This site features the online photographic portfolio of an individual who is by no means a professional, but happens to have an interest in photography, a little spare time, some fairly decent tools, a reasonable level of technical know-how, and the need to be able to take some time out every now and then with the aforementioned decent tools. The individual's day job has little need for the skills associated with photography; it does however allow him to travel periodically to take some time out and capture a few halfway decent images.
The photographer started taking photographs in 2001 and still tries to keep up every now and then.
Previous incarnations of this site have hosted a holistic repository of every halfway decent image that the photographer had captured. This avatar - under a new name - contains a lot fewer samples of work and will only be maintain galleries of the previous 12 months (or so), while archiving the most popular. The odd tutorial or review will also be periodically featured.
All photographic images published on this site are free for personal non-commercial use as desktop wallpaper and screensavers. Photographic images may be used on personal non-commercial websites when duly cited and linked back.
Unauthorised commercial use (such as calendars, coffee mugs, mouse mats and so on, including almost-free articles such as those sold for a fraction of a currency unit) without explicit written permission of the photographer is prohobited.
